Event Description:
Mark your calendar for the 37th Annual Fall Festival! In honor of October being “Breast Cancer Awareness Month”, we will be going pink with a “Pink Forest” in Town Park. There will be a “Pink” Color Fun Walk/Run, Bra Pledge Drive, shopping, food, musical entertainment on the stage, plenty of children's activities, and more. A portion of the proceeds will go to make chemo kits and blankets for Southwest MS Regional Medical Center’s cancer clinic’s patients. The fest is on Saturday, October 7, from 8:00am until 5:00pm and on Sunday October 8, from 1:00 until 5:00 pm with emphasis on gospel. If you are seeking a booth space, email Dawn at dSantalucito@wildblue.net All breast cancer survivors will be given a medal on pink ribbon to wear that weekend and can send their picture in now to be featured in the “Pink Forest” for the entire month of October.
